Bei Otto – a German Institution in Thailand Bei Otto draws on more than 29 years of experience in the restaurant and food trade business in Thailand. The business was founded by Otto Duffner back in 1984 and started off with a simple restaurant. Ever since, the business has grown into a company which now consists of a restaurant, a wine bar, catering services, a large bakery,  several delicatessen stores as well as a modern meat processing facility, producing over 90 butchery items.   Due to the high demand for a genuine, high quality product, most of our homemade goods are also available for retail and wholesale and can be found in a large number of supermarkets, restaurants and hotels throughout the Kingdom of Thailand.   For the past several years the company has been managed and driven by General Manager, Alexander Schillinger, a German national and seasoned hospitality professional who spend nearly half of his life in Asia, gaining his experience from restaurants to leading five star hotels. Together with his senior team, Executive Chef Walter Pfluger from Austria and German Executive Baker and Pastry Chef Peter Douscha, they strive with their dedicated line-up of over 100 full time employees, to continue to lead and expand the Bei Otto brand into the future.
